Volvo Finally Unveils 2015 XC90 to the World

For years, we've heard whispers that Volvo was going to completely reinvent its image with the new XC90 crossover. On the market since 2002, it's built quite the loyal fan base with its reputation for family friendliness and safety. Now, the Swedish brand is taking it to the next level in more ways than one. Today, it was unveiled for all to see.

Driven by the recent "trilogy" of concept cars that featured the T-shaped, "Thor's Hammer" lighting elements, the XC90 is a modern looking, and surprisingly powerful offering in the SUV segment. Under the hood, a 2.0L turbocharged engine with 316 horsepower, and an optional plug-in hybrid edition that boasts 400 ponies.
