Dedication to New Models and Technology Show Volvo is Here to Stay

In a recent report from Ward's Auto, Volvo North America's CEO John Maloney stated that Volvo is upping their range, bringing in some new models, and intend to heavily market the vehicles to attract more buyers to the brand. Given what you've read on the Paul's Volvo blog, that's been pretty clear, so why the reiteration?

Well, it's to address some baseless conjectures. At the start of the year, a site predicted that Volvo would bow out of North America. That's simply not true, and why would they? Things are just getting started.

That includes the introduction of new models like the Volvo V60, redesigned models like the next-generation XC90, and many others. Basically, the new Volvo lineup we're used to will be freshened up and more dynamic than ever.

To power these models, new and unique four-cylinder options are going to be available as the Swedish automaker does away with the six-cylinder platform. The goal is that the four pistons will be powerful and economical that you won't even know the difference. That's aided by KERS technology, which is good enough for Formula One drivers.

The increased marketing efforts will roll out within the next year, plus many different incentives for the new and redesigned models, including Volvo lease and finance options for those in Hawthorne, NJ.
