Volvo V40 Gets a Tune Up from Aftermarket Pros Heico Sportiv

We're guessing there are a few people out there who have heard of Pirelli Tires. The Italian company has proven to be the go-to manufacturer when it comes to Formula 1 racing, as they specialize in performance. Or, you know who they are because you're a soccer fan and they are the sponsor on Inter Milan kits. Either way, aftermarket pros Heico Sportiv wanted to help Pirelli celebrate some anniversaries, so they built them a customized model, using a new Volvo, of course.

The Volvo V40, which is a European-only hatchback was modified in a variety of ways to honor Pirelli and its 50 years of operation in Germany, along with 110 years of production in one of their tire facilities. On the outside it has a stunning black paint job with red stripes on the bottom, plus a new front spoiler, a rear skirt with diffuser looks, and quad tailpipes. There are also 19-inch wheels, equipped with Pirelli tires (obviously).

Inside, that black and red theme continues as the shifter, steering wheel, and handbrake have black leather with red stitching running throughout. It certainly gives the V40 a fierce and intimidating stance; looking like a hatchback you'd want to be seen in.

In terms of power under the hood, that stayed much the same with the 1.6-liter turbocharged engine that produces 148 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque providing the thrills.

Speaking of thrills, the Volvo vehicles in our Hawthorne, NJ showroom offers plenty of them. If you're interested in learning more, stop in and see us at Paul's Volvo. We'd be happy to provide additional details, answer your questions, and set up a test drive.
