Are Americans Ready for Autonomous Cars? The Survey Says…Sort of!

Ready or not (and truly the results are mixed), it seems that autonomous cars are the way of the future. So, in the interest of seeing how ready we as a society are for the implementation of autonomous driving, Volvo Cars conducted the largest online conversation about autonomous driving, the Future of Driving survey. The results are mixed, but certainly interesting.

Yesterday was the 57th Birthday of theVolvo-Designed Three-Point Safety Belt

Volvo is known worldwide as a safety-focused car company, and that’s evidenced by its goal of having no person killed or seriously injured in any new Volvo models by the year 2020. As we look forward to a safer future, here at Paul’s Volvo, we wanted to hark back to a time when the three-point seatbelt was just being refined and perfected, to July 10th, 1962, when Volvo engineer Nils Bohlin received a U.S. Patent for his three-point seatbelt design.

Three More Reasons to Make Your Family’s Vehicle a Volvo

If you’re part of a family with young children, you’re probably very familiar with the frustrations that come along with child safety seats. Either they’re difficult to install, uncomfortable for children, or you can’t get your kids to stay in them. Well, Volvo is hoping to solve that problem, at least in part. The Swedish automaker has just announced a new line of child safety seats, developed in collaboration with Britax-Römer, one of the world’s leading child seat makers.
